Pacific Islands, sometimes known as Oceania, and traditionally grouped into the divisions of Melanesia, Micronesia, and Polynesia comprise 20-30,000 islands. Hedgehog House photographers have visited some of these, discovering idyllic sandy white beaches lined by palm trees and fringed by coral reefs alive with colourful fish. They have also photographed other wildlife in this diverse region such as the rare kagu (bird) and orangutan, to provide a fascinating record.
